How Do I Earn Full Tilt Points?

Full Tilt Points are earned every time you login and play a real money game at Full Tilt Poker.  In tournaments you receive 7 points for every dollar that you pay in tournament fees and in cash games you receive 1 point for every dollar that is raked from a hand you were dealt a hand in.  Partial points are awarded, so if only $0.25 is raked from a hand you would still receive 0.25 points.  Full Tilt Points usually accumulate fast without you even noticing them.  Then all of a sudden you have plenty and you can start deciding how to spend them.

How Do I Spend My Full Tilt Points?

Full Tilt Points can be spent in a variety of ways.  First of all you can purchase items in the Full Tilt Poker shop.  For 4,000 points you can buy a Full Tilt cap or for 25,000 points you can purchase your own customized Full Tilt jersey from a variety of sports.  If you are able to accumulate 6,000,000 points you can even purchase a Mini Cooper S, which is the most expensive item in the Full Tilt Poker store.

You can also spend your Full Tilt points by playing in FTP tournaments.  These are usually satellites into bigger Full Tilt tournaments and they can range in buy-in from 10 points up to many thousand.  Every now and then Full Tilt Poker also holds a large tournament with a $250,000 cash prize pool that can be bought into for a certain number of Full Tilt Points.

As you can see, Full Tilt Points do hold plenty of value, so make sure you spend them wisely, because they can only be spent once.

Other Uses for Full Tilt Points

Full Tilt Points are also used to track your progress on Full Tilt Poker in a few promotions.  The first deposit bonus is released based on the number of Full Tilt Points you earn.  Each point clears $0.06 of the Full Tilt Poker bonus.  Similarly, if you are participating in the Iron Man Challenge promotion you must earn a set number of Full Tilt Points every day.  This goes to show that there are more uses for Full Tilt Points than just purchasing merchandise or buying into tournaments.
